On September 18-21, 2018, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) will hold its 2018 conference themed “Science, food, society” in Parma, Italy. The conference will reflect on “the future of risk assessment in food safety while acknowledging the social and political context within which it operates.” The event will gather researchers, risk assessors, social scientists, risk managers, and stakeholders “to discuss issues around the complex interplay between science, food and society.”

The draft program and registration are available on the event website. Registration is open until June 30, 2018 and spaces are limited.
