In a press release published June 20, 2013 the American Chemistry Council supports the conclusions drawn by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EP) regarding non-monotonic dose-response (NMDR) and low dose effects. The ACC states that the draft publication supports previous findings of main stream scientists and that the evidence for low dose exposures leading to adverse effects is, “at best, very weak”.

The report published by the U.S. EPA June 20, 2013 concludes that current toxicity testing is unlikely to mischaracterize hazard potential due to NMDR.
