On December 9, 2014 the Endocrine Society published a press release announcing the publication of a new guide providing a comprehensive introduction to endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). The guide is a joint initiative of the Endocrine Society and a global network of 700 NGOs known as IPEN. The guide aims to help global policymakers, government leaders, and public interest organizations to improve their understanding of what EDCs are and the impact EDCs have on human health and thus eventually assist them in making informed policy decisions. Copies of the Endocrine Society-IPEN guide are available here.
