On November 4, 2016 the Berkeley Center for Green Chemistry held a meeting on bisphenol A (BPA)-free can linings (FPF reported). Several presentations focused on the function and applications of cans and can linings and introduced possible substitutes for alternative can linings without BPA. Furthermore, chemical migration from cans and the toxicological evaluation of new can linings were discussed. Communication within the supply chain and the need for information were additional topics.

The videos of all presentations and panel discussions were recently published online. Furthermore, the slides of seven presentations were made available on the website of the Berkeley Center for Green Chemistry.
