From September 28 to October 2, 2015 the Fourth International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM4) took place in Geneva, Switzerland (FPF reported). ICCM is the governing body of the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM), which is a voluntary policy framework to promote global chemical safety. During the ICCM4 meeting, participants adopted a resolution on endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), containing country support for the 2012 WHO/UNEP state of the science EDC report as well as a remark by chemical manufacturers stating that the WHO/UNEP EDC report is contentious.
