On December 6, 2017, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) announced the dates for the 2018 plenary meetings of its scientific panels and Scientific Committee that are open to observers. The new Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes and Processing Aids (CEP Panel) will meet on October 23–25, 2018, and the Panel on Contaminants in the Food Chain (CONTAM Panel) will meet on November 13-15, 2018. The Scientific Committee is scheduled to meet on April 11-12 and November 21-22, 2018. All meetings will take place in Parma, Italy, and live streams will be available. Attendees are advised to read EFSA’s guidelines for observers; registration for the 2018 meetings is not yet open.
