On July 8, 2016 the European Food Safety Authority’s (EFSA) Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes, Flavourings and Processing Aids (CEF Panel) published the latest update of the meeting minutes of its Working Group on Food Contact Materials (WG-FCM). The 14th meeting of the WG-FCM was held by phone conference on May 31, 2016 and involved the WG’s subgroup on uncertainty guidance. The subgroup discussed measures for implementing EFSA’s revised draft guidance on uncertainty into scientific opinions on FCMs. Further, the WG-members proposed a work plan for the trial period.
The next meeting of the WG-FCM was scheduled to take place on July 5-7, 2016. No meeting minutes have been published yet.
