The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) in the Netherlands published an overview of the state of knowledge on bisphenol A (BPA). This comprehensive overview is the 1st part of a larger report on BPA’s possible risks to humans and the environment. It does not include an appraisal of the risk posed by BPA. The compiled data will be evaluated in the 2nd part of the report to be published in 2015. The full report is intended to inform the decision whether risk reduction measures are required.
