On October 5, 2017, the Food Packaging Forum (FPF) held its fifth annual workshop in Zurich, Switzerland, focusing on “Scientific challenges in the risk assessment of food contact materials.

Melissa Van Bossuyt, PhD student at the Scientific Institute of Public Health and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium, presented a prioritization strategy for the toxicological assessment of substances found in printed paper and board food contact materials (FCMs) (FPF reported).
