On June 19, 2017 the European Commission’s (EC) Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) announced that the next meeting of the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed (PAFF Committee) will take place on July 4, 2017. The meeting will focus on the EC’s revised draft criteria to identify endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). “Member States will discuss and possibly give their opinion on a draft act under the PPP [(Plant Protection Products)] legislation,” DG SANTE informed. The last meeting of the PAFF Committee, where no formal vote was taken by Member States, took place on May 30, 2017 (FPF reported).
