On December 3, 2014 the EDC-Free Europe coalition launched an online platform encouraging concerned citizens to participate in the public consultation on endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) criteria. The European Commission (EC) opened a public online consultation on EDCs on September 29, 2014 (previously reported on by the FPF). Concerns have been raised over the consultation due to the technical nature of the questions, which may limit public involvement (previously reported on by the FPF). The new platform aims to simplify the participation in the consultation for general public.
