In an article published on September 18, 2017 by news provider ENDS Europe, journalist Robert Hodgson reported that the European Commission (EC) has launched a public consultation on the definition of the term ‘nanomaterial.’ The EC plans to publish the revised nanomaterials definition, to be used across all EU legislation, by the first quarter of 2018, Hodgson informed. The consultation was opened on September 15, 2017, in conjunction with an EC roadmap published on the same day. Feedback can be submitted until October 13, 2017.
