In an article published on August 12, 2016 by regulatory news provider Chemical Watch, editor Luke Buxton informs that the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) is planning to revise the Swiss chemicals ordinance (ChemO) to include a “specific notification for the nanoform of a substance.” Phase one of the revision is foreseen for 2017 and shall include communication of all nanomaterials on the Swiss market. Phase two will probably take place from 2019 to 2020 and shall include the introduction of the notification requirements for nanomaterials.
