On January 19, 2017 the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) launched a survey on the use of compliance documentation in the supply chain. The aim of the survey is to assess the the functioning of Articles 15 and 16 of the plastic FCM regulation (EU) No 10/2011, which refer to the Declaration of Compliance (DoC) and the Supporting Documentation, respectively. The survey will also “provide information to help develop and prevent possible similar problems in new legislation, such as that on printed FCMs.” The survey is directed at competent authorities, stakeholder associations, and business operators. It is open until February 10, 2017 and can be accessed on DG SANTE’s website on non-harmonized FCMs.
