On November 6, 2015 the European Commission’s (EC) Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) will hold a technical meeting on the methodology for evidence screening of chemicals in the context of the impact assessment on criteria to identify endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). The EC’s Joint Research Center (JRC) developed the methodology to estimate which chemicals fall under the different options for criteria to identify EDCs as outlined in the EU roadmap for EDCs (FPF reported). The aim of the meeting is to present JRC’s methodology to EU Member States (MS), Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), non-EU countries and stakeholders.
