On November 15, 2018, the third edition of the Plastics Update Conference will be held in Fribourg, Switzerland. The event is organized by the Plastics Innovation Competence Centre (PICC) which “supports the plastics industry with science and technology to find innovative solutions.” The conference will feature four sessions: 1) “Overview of the entire value chain and major issues of the plastics industry,” 2) “digital age for the plastics industry,” 3) “opportunities for a modern circular plastics economy,” and 4) “perspectives on hybrid plastics.” Attendees will be representatives of industry, the research community, and engineering students.
