On November 18-20, 2020, the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI) Europe will host the 7th International Symposium on Food Packaging with the title “Scientific developments supporting safety and innovation” in Barcelona, Spain. The conference’s primary topics include advances in analytical techniques, progress in toxicological prediction and assessment, progress in risk assessment, and food contact materials (FCMs) in the circular economy. The multi-disciplinary event aims to bring together a wide range of stakeholders to “review and debate recent advances in the science which supports the demonstration of the safety, quality and innovation of food packaging.” The conference is now accepting abstract submissions with a deadline of January 31, 2020 for oral presentations and July 31, 2020 for poster presentations. Registration to attend will open in April 2020.
