On June 14-15, 2016 the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) will host a scientific colloquium on “Epigenetics and risk assessment: Where do we stand?” in Valencia, Spain. EFSA invites scientists, risk managers and policymakers to discuss the current knowledge on epigenetic mechanisms. Four discussion groups will focus on the following topics: 1) Incorporating epigenetics data in mode of action, 2) epigenetics and chemical risk assessment in humans, 3) epigenetics in risk assessment of farmed animals for food production, and 4) epigenetics and environmental risk assessment. Registration is now open and closes on April 27, 2016.
