On June 25-29, 2018, the 6th World Congress of Environmental and Resource Economists (WCERE 2018) will take place at the School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden. The participants will “delve into economic theory to understand the mechanisms behind social change but listen also to subjects such as political science and history as well as the many natural science disciplines that help us understand the resource and environmental challenges we face.”

In addition to theory and empirical studies, the organizers also plan to “engage with the policy agenda.” A panel discussion (free to attend) on “Supply and demand of environmental economics policy advice” will take place on June 25, 2018. Several other related events will also take place around the conference. Registration is currently open.
