On February 20, 2017 the industry group European Centre for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals (ECETOC) published its annual report of 2016. The report highlights ECETOC’s completed task forces that produced, among others, the guidance for effective use of human exposure data in risk assessment of chemicals, and the guidance on assessment and application of Adverse Outcome Pathways (AOPs) relevant to the endocrine system (FPF reported). The report further summarizes ECETOC’s events of 2016, such as the workshop on “Advances in consumer exposure science: Data, modelling and aggregate exposure assessment” that took place on January 26, 2016 in Brussels, Belgium.
