On the 29 and 30 October EFSA experts from the panel on Food contact Materials, Enzymes, Flavourings and Processing (CEF) met with national experts from Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland in Parma. Scientists presented their recent work on human exposures, bisphenol A (BPA) levels in food, non-dietary BPA sources analytical methods and toxicity to EFSA and other national experts. A full report is soon to be published. The meeting was in preparation of the opinion scheduled to be published in spring 2013.
