On November 16, 2015 the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) announced the dates for the open plenary meetings of its scientific panels and the Scientific Committee taking place in Brussels, Belgium in 2016. The Panel on Contaminants in the Food Chain (CONTAM Panel) will meet on May 10-12, 2016 and the Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes, Flavorings and Processing Aids (CEF Panel) will meet on November 29 – December 1, 2016. By opening plenary meeting to observers, EFSA aims to increase transparency and encourage scientific dialogue among stakeholders. Registration will start in the second half of January 2016.
