On March 24, 2017 the European Commission’s (EC) Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) opened the application process for seven of the 14 positions in the Management Board of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). The mandates of the seven EFSA Board members to be replaced will expire on June 30, 2018. The term of the new mandates will be four years, from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2022. The “Call for expressions of interest for the position of member of the Management Board of the European Food Safety Authority” was also published in the Official Journal of the European Union on March 24, 2017. Applications can be submitted online by May 19, 2017.
