On May 15, 2018, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) released the list of scientific experts that have been selected to renew the authority’s scientific panels and Scientific Committee in July 2018. Over 170 new experts were recruited, with 44% affiliated to European universities, 17% to national risk assessment bodies, 29% to other government or public research institutes, and the rest being self-employed and retired scientists. The chosen scientific experts will start their three-year mandates on July 1, 2018.

The list of experts for EFSA’s Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes and Processing Aids (CEP), including their declarations of interest and CVs, can be found here. The CEP Panel will replace the current Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes, Flavourings and Processing Aids (CEF) (FPF reported).
