The European Commission (EC) has announced the launch of its Fit for Future Platform, which is a high-level group of experts that will help the EC simplify EU laws and reduce administrative burden. Within the Platform’s members are a group of stakeholder experts, and applications are now being accepted until June 19, 2020 for experts to join this group. Once the Platform is fully operational, the wider public and all stakeholders will also be able to comment and provide input on existing laws and proposals for new EU policies through the Have Your Say online portal. The Platform is building on the EC’s previous regulatory fitness and performance (REFIT) program.
