On October 8, 2015 the Food Packaging Forum (FPF) will hold its third annual workshop entitled “Food packaging and chemical safety: what does the future hold?”. High profile speakers from regulatory authorities, industry, academia and public interest groups will take a look at trends and future developments relevant for the issue of chemical migration from food contact materials and impact on health. This year’s workshop features, amongst others, Stephen Klump, Head of Packaging Quality and Safety at Nestlé, Switzerland, Bernard Hegarty, Director of Service Contracts with the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), and Stefano Lorenzetti, Researcher from the Italian National Institute of Health (Instituto Superiore di Sanità, ISS).
