On June 11, 2018, at 03:00 pm CEST (Central European Summer Time), the Food Packaging Forum (FPF) will hold a public webinar on brand owners’ perspective on chemicals of concern in food packaging.
In March 2018, the Food Safety Alliance for Packaging (FSAP) published a document entitled “Food packaging product stewardship considerations,” featuring a list of chemicals for which a replacement or minimization of use in packaging is recommended (FPF reported). The document was prepared by an FSAP food company working group and is intended as a list of best practices. Dr. Stephen Klump, Global Head of Food Contact Material Safety & Compliance at Nestlé Research Center, U.S., will give an overview of the document. After Dr. Klump’s talk, there will be time for questions.
