On October 24, 2014 at 12:30pm EST (4:30pm GMT) the U.S. National Science Academy will hold a webinar on the National Research Council’s 2014 report “A Framework to Guide Selection of Chemical Alternatives”. The report reviews different existing assessment frameworks that center around differing priorities such as protecting workers, the environment or consumers and is avialbable as a free pdf-file. During the webinar David Dorman of North Carolina State University and Chair of the report’s authoring committee will present the work. The presentation will be followed by a Question & Answer session with Dorman and other committee members. The webinar is freely accessible and registration is possible on the webpage of the National Science Academy.
