On January 26, 2016 the Trans Atlantic Consumer Dialogue (TACD) is hosting a multi-stakeholder forum in Brussels, Belgium to discuss “issues of importance to consumers related to the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).” The forum will focus on the precautionary principle, its utilization in the EU and the U.S., and its implications for the TTIP negotiations. Sessions will be held on the subject of precaution in the areas of chemicals and pesticides, food, privacy, and the digital agenda. A draft program is available on the event website. Registration is open until January 4, 2016.
