On April 15, 2013 the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) announced that it seeks new scientific experts for two of its panels, the Scientific Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes, Flavourings and Processing Aids (CEF) and Scientific Panel on Food Additives and Nutrient Sources Added to Food (ANS). Amongst other topics, experts on the EFSA’s CEF panels provide scientific advice on food contact materials, which is published in the form of scientific opinions.

Interested experts may apply through an online procedure. The deadline for expressions of interest is on June 17, 2013. Selected applicants will be offered a three year mandate starting in 2014.
