According to an article published in the industry news provider Print Week on September 11, 2014 a new line of low-migration UV-inkjet inks compliant with food safety regulations were released. The printing equipment manufacturer asserts that the new digital printing inks comply with both the European Printing Ink Association (EuPIA) guidelines and the Swiss Ordinance on Materials and Articles, and do not contain any chemical excluded by the Nestlé Guidance on Packaging Inks, such as certain acrylates.
