On October 9, 2013 a new search function for The Endocrine Disruptor Exchange (TEDX) list of Potential Endocrine Disruptors was released. In a press release published on October 9, 2013, TEDX announced that the new search options include searching by full and partial chemical name, CAS number or chemical use and source categories. Currently there is information on nearly 1000 endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) available on the webpage. To be listed as an EDC in the TEDX database, a chemical requires at least one verified citation from a published accessible primary scientific research article demonstrating endocrine disrupting effects.
