On April 6, 2020, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation announced that it is launching a free, ten-week online training program about the circular economy. Open to all stakeholders, the program will consist of weekly webinars as well as short assignments to be discussed within an online discussion space. The presentations will cover “topics including circular design, business models, plastics, fashion, cities, and food, and look at case studies.” All of the webinars will be recorded and made available for participants to watch at their convenience. Basic knowledge of the circular economy is recommended, and the foundation provides a learning hub to help participants prepare. Registration for the program is open, and the first webinar will take place on April 15, 2020.
