On November 19, 2020, the non-governmental organization Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL) and the Belgian Independent Health Insurance Funds will hold an online symposium on endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) and reducing their impacts on human health. The event will feature presentations from health and policy experts from the Belgian Federal Public Health Service, the Brussels Minister for environment and health, University of Antwerp, Mutualités Libres, and HEAL. It aims to answer questions such as: What is the role of health care providers in raising awareness on this issue? And how can authorities protect especially vulnerable citizens from the health risks associated with EDCs? Registration is open and free of charge.
