On December 3-6, 2018, the consultancy Smithers Pira will hold the 2018 edition of its conference on “Plastics & paper in contact with foodstuffs” in Vienna, Austria. The conference will gather “likeminded professionals looking to address all topical concerns in the food contact industry and develop their knowledge on how to best comply with the latest regulations for plastic and paper packaging in contact with foodstuffs.” The first conference day will focus on plastic materials, the second day will cover plastics, paper, and other materials, and the third day will address solely paper materials.
