On November 16-17, 2016 the 81st plenary meeting of the European Food Safety Authority’s (EFSA) Scientific Committee will take place in Brussels, Belgium. Items on the agenda include the draft guidance document on the weight of evidence approach, the draft opinion on the Benchmark Dose (BMD) approach, and the draft opinion on criteria to update and reopen an EFSA scientific assessment. Further, feedback will be given on the work-program of several Scientific Committee Working Groups (WGs), such as the WG on chemical mixtures, the WG on nanotechnologies, and the WG on uncertainty in risk assessment.
The meeting is open to observers and the deadline for registration is October 25, 2016.
