On June 16, 2020, regulatory news provider Chemical Watch reported on a published consolidated transitional inventory of chemicals by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The inventory is open for submissions from companies based in Russia, and it will inform the Eurasian technical regulation on chemical products TR EAEU 04/2017, which is often referred to as Eurasia-REACH. An extended deadline for submitting notifications to the inventory has been set for August 1, 2020. Each of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states are set to create their own inventories of chemical substances and mixtures. Due to a lack of consensus on chemicals to be restricted with EAEU member states, the creation of the inventory is taking place before the implementation of such other technical regulations.
