According to an article published on the industry news provider Food Production Daily, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved an antioxidant used to stabilize polymers for food contact materials. The nonylphenol-free phosphite may be used in low density poly ethylene (LDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
