On November 15, 2017 at 11:00 am EST, the Grocery Manufacturers Association’s Science and Education Foundation (GMA SEF) will hold a webinar on “The evolution of FSSAI: How the Indian regulator is upgrading regulations.” The one-hour webinar will address the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’s (FSSAI) “latest labeling and food additives regulations,” as well as “emerging packaging and sustainability regulations.” On October 13, 2017, the FSSAI notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of a draft of new Indian food packaging regulations (FPF reported). The aim of the webinar is to “examine roadblocks to market entry into India” with expert speakers.
