On November 3, 2015 the Swedish Chemicals Agency (KEMI) and the Swedish National Food Agency (Livsmedelsverket) will host a workshop on “Endocrine active substances in the food – what is the problem?” in Uppsala, Sweden. The workshop aims to establish a common knowledge base on endocrine active and endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) in the food chain to enable a discussion of the current challenges regarding the topic. Further, the workshop provides a platform for networking and collaboration between researchers and authorities. A draft program can be found on the event website and registration is open until October 20, 2015.
