In December 2019, the Endocrine Society began to publish a resource page that provides information on endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) for clinicians and patients. The site includes several short, illustrated videos developed by endocrine researchers and medical doctors. These films/clips provide an introduction to EDCs, exposure and links to metabolic disorders, and recommend cost effective steps to reduce exposure. More videos are planned to be released on the site in the coming months. The resources were organized by the Endocrine Society’s EDC Advisory Group to “help endocrinologists answer questions about EDCs and facilitate evidence-based discussions with their patients.”
