On April 2-3, 2018, the North America branch of the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI NA) will host “2019 Food packaging conference: Scientific advances and challenges in safety evaluation of food packaging materials” in Washington, D.C., U.S.. The two-day event “will bring together international and national experts from academia, government, industry and NGOs to share about toxicology, risk assessment and regulatory science as they relate to food packaging.” The conference will feature three scientific sessions: 1) Analytical testing and migration assessments/modeling, 2) toxicological exposure assessments, and 3) risk assessment and regulatory science interpretation.

A call for abstracts for any of the three sessions is open until September 14, 2018. The full meeting agenda will be announced soon and registration is available on the event website.
