ISA Pack is a European Commission Seventh Framework Programme funded research project which aims to develop a food packaging material able to extend shelf life. The material shall be used for sheet, film and stretch wrap film applications and be equipped with an indicator system capable of integrating temperature and lipid oxidation indicators. The ISA-Pack product shall comply with life- cycle and sustainability demands. The project will be in place from January 2012 until 2015.
