The two non-governmental organizations (NGOs) Collaborative on Health and the Environment and The Endocrine Disruption Exchange (TEDX) will host a webinar on the exposure, research and regulation of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). The webinar will feature Jerold Heindel, administrator of the U.S. National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) grants program in endocrine disruptors, the developmental basis of diseases, reproductive toxicology, and obesity. Further, Gwynne Lyons, director of the NGO ChemTrust and Laura Vandenberg, postdoctoral fellow at Tufts University Center for Regenerative and Developmental Biology will be present at the webinar. During the call Heindel will present an overview of a meeting on low dose effects and non-monotonic dose response held in Berlin in September 2012 (previously reported on by the FPF). Further, Vandenberg will talk about non-monotonic dose response, followed by a description of the current European Union (EU) negotiations regarding EDC regulation by Lyons.

The webinar will take place at noon EDT, on September 12, 2013 and is open to the public.
