On September 8, 2016 the food contact IT company Viaware will host its first Food Contact Safety day at their office location in Almelo, the Netherlands. The aim of the event is to learn from different perspectives about the challenges, obligations, trends, and future of food contact safety.
The presentations of guest speakers share the same topic ‘safety of food contact materials,’ but reflect their own perspective. Guest speakers, so far, include Elly Spies of Friesland Campina (food industry), Koen Weel of TNO Triskelion (testing laboratory), and Birgit Geueke of Food Packaging Forum (charitable foundation).
In addition to the presentations, there will be opportunity for networking during and after the event. Companies active in the food contact materials supply chain or interested in this topic are kindly invited to join the workshop. The event is free of charge and registration is now available online.
