On March 6th and 7th 2019, the European Commission (EC) together with the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) hosted a stakeholder conference in Brussels on the topic of the circular economy. This year’s conference aimed to build on the last year’s conference, which included 650 participants. The first day of the event focused on exploring the EC’s action plan to help transition to a circular economy and also aimed to “widen the discussion to consider the circular economy as an enabler to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.” The second day was set to focus on eight participatory workshops to “share successes and identify new challenges.”

The full agenda for the event is available, and many of the talks were live streamed and are archived online for public viewing.
