On April 5, 2023, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) hosted a webinar discussing the proposed REACH restriction of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden proposed the restriction to address the risks to the environment and human health from manufacturing and use of PFAS (FPF reported). The consultation on the proposal started on March 22, 2023, and closes on September 25, 2023.
