On September 12, 2019, the Food Packaging Forum (FPF) together with project partners will host a final event for the research project “Hazardous Chemicals in Plastic Packaging (HCPP)” that was launched in August 2017 (FPF reported). Through themed sessions and interactive discussion panels, project participants will report on the project’s findings including knowns and pertinent knowledge gaps, environmental and human health risks related to priority plastic packaging chemicals, opportunities for and barriers to substitution of hazardous chemicals, and socio-economic costs of using hazardous substances in plastic packaging.

A limited number of spaces are still available for participants to join the event in Gothenburg. Registration is also open to join the event via a live webinar and follow all of the presentations remotely. A full program as well as online registration are available on the event’s webpage.
