The Department of Ecology for the U.S. state of Washington will host two webinars to inform the public about current activities within their ongoing assessment of alternatives to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in food packaging. The first webinar will be a project update and take place on January 28, 2020 at 11:00 PST. It will “provide a summary of the current project activities and the expanded scope” of the alternatives assessment, which will now consider additional packaging types.
