On March 29, 2016 the seventh colloquium of the series on Challenges in Food and Ingredient Safety will take place, this time focusing on the Threshold of Toxicological Concern (TTC) and the Cramer classification scheme. The colloquia are jointly organized by the Society of Toxicology (SOT) and the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The goal of these events is to present “high-quality, cutting-edge, future-oriented” scientific information that informs the work of FDA employees. They are not intended to serve as a public discussion forum for any pertaining regulatory issues.
